Dearest Leonard,
Received your sweet letter and telegram very glad to hear from you dear. I hope Lenard you will have a lovely Eve, at your intended brother in law, But please enjoy yourself dear--I was just fooling when I told you dear, I was going to a dance, I am staying home. And being a good girl tonight, and staying in so that I shall be out with you Satursday.
I miss you terrible tonight, but hope dear you are happy. I was surprised when you came in Friday morning, and you just left, after five minutes, your telegram came. But do not worry Lenard. I will be true to you and I will stay hear, I promise you I will not go to Hartford now, because you have been lovely to me, just like a sister.
But I had to sit down and drop you a few lines dear. I would of loved to had seen Carlson, But probly some day I hope to see him. I am hear at mother's staying home with them, and going to bed early.
Well dear, I will come to a close and will say nightie, night, with lots of love, and best wishes until Satursday.
