My dearest Leonard:
Received you letter on Friday, and was very glad to hear from you dear again, I was certainly glad to seeyou on Friday night. But I always will after leave you so early now. But it will be better for you dear, and you will after study yourself more.
But I miss you in the evening terrible, and feel very restless and the eve seems to be so long, and drearly alone.
But I suppose dear I will after put up with it now, or later because I am planning to make this trip this Winter to Florida. I want to go badly in away, and in another way, I do not want to leave you. Because you have treated me just like a sister. AND Leonard dear, I shall never forget it. Please dear do not feel I do not like you any more because I care a great deal for you.
I hope to see you early on Sunday so do not forget me and drop me a line.
But dear I hope this letter finds you well, and hope, that you arrived home safe.
With lots of love and kisses I remain as ever, best wishes.
ALICE
