Dearest Leonard:
Received your welcome letter and very glad to hear from you.
But awful soary you got home so late, dear. Well how are you Carl called me up, and he asked me how I were. But listen, you come down Thursday eve and I shall go to Stamford with you. Well dear, you must of been very busy shopping.
I only wished I had been with you. I bet you had some sport. Well, dear, I hope you are well and hope to hear from you real soon.
Love, Alice
