My Darling Leonard,
I love you to my bottom of my heart and I love you more dearly every day. I have received all of your mail, And post cards, so do not worry.
Well I have met a beautiful young girl hear. And I love hear, so I have made a good Pal with hear.
But she as meet me to lots of hear young girl friends, And young men, but none appeals to me like my dear Leonard. I was just thinking of you the other evening, how you have, carressed and held me. And wanted me badly at time. Now dear all of those things come in my mind. I only wished you were hear now. But I am not lucky any more. Am I dear heart. I suppose you feel just as bad yourself. But only hope and wish it was S.... but the summer seems to be going quickly, now dear.
I read the other evening. I have not been out at night for a week. so the other night. I started with the first card what you sent me from Stamford and all of them special deliveries what you have written me, I read. I got undressed and got in bed which you can see me in bed like in Antoinette, and snuggled in bed. And read all of your letters.
Your girl what you left behind is being true to you, And only you.
Love and Kisses for you, dear heart.
Yours forever,
ALICE
