"My dearest Leonard: Being hear alone today, feel very blue as it is a very unsettled day, and this weather is very unsettled and it is going to rain. Eilz, is out today. So you see dear, I am alone.
Thinking of my lonesome boy. I am off on Friday, June 2, so I am going to NY and buy so lovely underwear. I am getting my oak chest ready for you now, as long as you want me to be your wife. I might as well start it, so I shall always have them layed aside. I stay in the evening and sew. I made a beauty nightgown. Leonard it's beautiful. But it will not be beautiful long * * * * Mrs. Alderson as made me a present of a whole set of white silk.
But is is handsome, I feel I would never want to wear it, but it feels so soft, and nice aside of your skin, and tempting you, insant Len.
