"I had a letter written to Mr. Alderson sent to Pelham, but it was forwarded up here to me, from Ed.

He is just dying to get back with me again. Your clock keeps beautiful time, dearest, and I have still those two roses, and I wear your ring just like you asked me. I hope you are wearing mind as I no you loved it, that's why I let you wear it, but its mostly a women ring.
