Dearest, being election day, do you remember a year from today, you and Carl, mother and I drove into N. Y. and coming back we stopped in Mt. Vernon to by some victrola records and needles? and the parade was in Mt. Vernon of election night. Gee, wasn't we all happy? And to think your miles --miles from me today.
Well never mind Honey Lamb, I hope you shall be home for Christmas I will live in hopes for that now. But, let me no, if you really no if you are coming, home for Christmas.
But dearest, I shall come to a close. Last night, I went to bed at 9 o'clock and I fell asleep with you being on my mind.
Good night my love nest and God watch over you and keep well for your Alice.
Yours always, as ever, ALICE.
