My dearest Len.
. . . Well my love one, I bought a locket in NY to day and I have put your sweet picture in it and mind, and when I have it closed your face, And mind is together, but how, I would love to be in your Arms just at present. And you could hold me on your lap. Do you remember Len, when we was alone isant it heaven Len to be alone with you darling, and your warm loving lips. . . .
Well if you saw me today in NY Len I could not be lefted alone, when I was I was in NY with thoses NY men is terrible for eyes making. But I came out of Shandly restaurant, forty third st and this man followed me to Grand Central but did not spoke but smiled, and was very pretty when, I got on the train, he sat on the opposite seat of the train but looked, And smiled, but I did not noticed him much, but when I got off, of pelham he asked me, if he could escort me home so I said go back from where you came from, please do not bother me.
He said your very bashful arent you. I said no, but did not care for your company. So he went somewhere, but was not interested, where he did go, so you see dear, a girl what trys to behave cant be left alone you see. But never mind dear. I am just telling you this showing how much more I love you.
Lovingly, ALICE.
