My Dearest Leonard,

Just received two of your letters what you wrote me they were forwarded from Pelham. But darling please do not write any more mail to Pelham, send it rite hear to me, as it takes so long to go to Pelham than to Adirondacks.

I have sent you lots of letters to general Delivery,

Sanfrancisco, and also Post cards. I am so glad dear, to hear you are well, but your poor little girl is sick, from lonesomeness. I had a letter from Emily today and she is in Norfolk, and having a wonderful time. But Leonard, I must tell you about my trip.

I lefted Grand Central at 7 o'clock train, the Great Western Express our first stop was at Poughkeepsie 10 oclock June 16th pm. Our second stop was at Utica at 11 oclock and ten we did not stop again until 7:30 Saturday morning at Lake Clear. Then we had a automobile to meet us at the station.

And then we had to drive five miles to Lake Placid then to Paul Smith our camp. I had a lovely cabin on the train on the lower berth.

The Porter said from Paul Smith to New YOrk is just thre hundred and fifty miles. We are just forty miles from Canda, Montreal Hall.

But I am going Canada before I go home, but I am sick from blues, and my poor heart is broken ot see you it wants to be put together by you.

Our Camp Leonard is wonderful right on the top of a Lake. Please do not speak about mountains and falls and Lakes. I see plenty and take for instant, what I hate his snakes, they are all over and some is over two ft long. Listen Leonard this is a summer resort place why dont you and you Pal come this way out please do not go to Honolu because I am longing for you. Please puswaid him to come this way. Leonard did not bring your vivtola because I new when I started to play that how happy I would be and feel for you.

Leonard did you ever think how many miles I am away from you its terrible when I think of it. But our camp hear is beautiful and I must say and talk about room there is plenty of room hear for you to stay with me so please write me a letter back saying you are coming out this way. Dear you no you will not say no to me, I have bought you auful pretty cigarette case souvenir of Paul Smith. I will after get you, several little things when I got to Canada.

Well my darling talk about men up here. All a girl wants. Berlin the Musical feloow as gotten a camp right next to us. He is a swell chap, and lots of actors hear.

Since I have been hear, I have been out every day, but not at nights. If I do not get over these blues, I shall never stay up here all summer, because I cant stand to get so blue and lonesome. Well darling I want you to write me a letter telling me you are coming out this way.

I hope you love me more and more. I love all your sweet poems, and letters but I want to hold you now and love. Your's Always. Love. ALICE.
