Dear Alice:
I wonder if you will think of me just a little tonight being in Stamford "all by myself."
Well, dear girl, Carl and I will be down Sunday afternoon between two thirty and three, that is if you really want me.
It's "awful," dear. I can't help thinking about tonight. Really I won't know what to do with myself. Yes, dear, it really is "horrible." I think I shall go to bed at seven and have a good long sleep.
Good luck and enjoy yourself tonight. Love, LEONARD.
